Sumario:The Ottoman Empire, the organization during the fall period up has not much importance to the production or the forest products forestry activities in the period and the production area only in rural areas of taxation means is seen as war and the palace meeting the needs of the vehicle. Reforms Dönemi'yl with natural forests and property values begin to understand the self-regulation by the Ottoman Empire for the forest, it has issued codes of law. Forestry General Directorate of Forestry and Forest School Provincial Organization of rich forests for timber sales through auctions on the other hand have started to show sensitivity to the protection of the established forest were carried out. The first efforts to protect forests and to regulate forestry activities in the Ottoman Empire has been Abdulmecit period. Forestry Directorate was established in 1839 Abdulmecit period. A forest protection staff in 1851 was prepared. Launched westernization attempts at each site with a wriggling mAlArA Tanzimat led teams in forestry. In the Ottoman Empire, the largest arrangements related to forestry activities during the period of Sultan Abdulaziz Forest Regulations 1870 has been removed. This regulation remained in practice until 1937. Especially the structure of the Constitutional period of Forestry Directorates after the Tanzimat period, the introduction of foreign forestry experts, their exploration and mapping work, the forest and the establishment of the Agricultural School of the administrative and legal arrangements for the Ottoman Forestry was given in the form of implementation in the Ottoman geography of these regulations. Organization of forest remaining in the background, our goal is to do research in this particularly Ottoman Economic History and bureaucratic structure, will reveal forestry activities.
