Sumario:In this study, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting and Graphic Design and the Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Painting and Business Education were examined for their opinions on special talent exams. According to the point of view of the lecturers, it was investigated whether there was any problem in the application of special skill tests and tried to determine what solution suggestions might be for possible problems. In this study, it is important to answer questions such as whether the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), which is one of the special skills test criteria, should be included in the test, if TYT will be used as a result of the test, the percentage of the score will be on the basis of departments and students and the type of application of This study was carried out with a combination of qualitative and quantitative research techniques. The answers given to the questions in the qualitative method were interpreted and the data were obtained by using descriptive analysis method. In the quantitative research method, the answers given to the questions included in the questionnaire were evaluated and the opinions of the instructors regarding the special skill tests were determined. The universe of the research is composed of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the state universities in Turkey, Department of painting, Department of Graphic Design and Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of painting and Business Education. The sample is; Malatya Inönü, Isparta Süleyman Demirel, Hatay Mustafa Kemal, Denizli Pamukkale, Tokat Gazi Osman Paşa, Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs and Adıyaman University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of painting, design departments and faculty of Education Faculty of Fine Arts Education Department of painting-Business Administration Department of Faculty of painting are some of the faculty members. The questionnaire, which is used as a data collection tool, was prepared for the content of the problem. In the survey percent (%) descriptive analysis and content analysis were used. Based on the results of the findings, the results of the students with low scores in TYT or previous YGS exam and the students with high scores in the university education were found to be significant differences in the levels of success during the period.
