Summary: In Cell Stem Cell, Aghazadeh et al.1 show that human embryonic stem cell-derived pancreatic progenitors can reverse hyperglycemia for several weeks in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice when co-transplanted with microvessel fragments into the subcutaneous space.
