| Résumé: | This article reflects how the military values of hierarchy and discipline are present in the interaction of dual-career couples in this environment. The presence of the female force in the Brazilian Armed Forces allowed differentiated relations for the military structure, in its affective, loving and sexual dimension. Through bibliographical productions and participant observation, we have shown that courtship and marriage between military personnel of different echelons distort, in practice, the distances, especially between the circle of squares and officers, and opened the possibility of the dissolution of hierarchical differences, an aspect that imposes challenges to family-work reconciliation in this environment. |
