Sumario:6 letters of V.G. Benediktov to P.A. Vyazemsky (from 1838 to 1861), supplementing the idea of relationship of poets, are introduced into scientific use. Two of them refer to Benediktov’s poem “Obnovy” (Novelties), dedicated to the political thaw of the second half of the 1850s, which the author sent to Vyazemsky for editing. It is probably for ideological reasons that this work was not published during the life of Benediktov, and is first published in this article with some comments.
