| Sumario: | At the time of being looked up the dictionary meaning of Narcisstic Personality, It is found out that it is described as person’s over level of admiration to his own physiological and psychological features and over self-love. However, Motivation is decsribed as a inducement which motives the person to behave or to choose one of many alternatives. Many studies have been found which have been done upon sport and motivation in the scanning of literature, but limited numbers of studies have been found which have been done upon sport and narcissim and these studies have been detected that these have been done by Researchers’ especially in America, and also Europe. Because of this reason, this study is thought to make a contribution to the literature. The aim of this study is to show up the relationship of motivation and narcissim by determining the motivation and narcissim intentions of boxers. 145 boxers, who have participated in Turkey Championship –Adult Category- in 2012 and voluntarily accepted to enter the study, form the sample of the study. The Narcist Personality inventory and Motivation Intention inventory have been used as data acquiring tool. SPSS 15 Packet programme has been used for analysis fo datas. “ Kolmogorov-Smirnov” test has been used to determine whether the datas having a normal distribution or not, “ Anova Homogenety of Variance” test has been applied to determine whether the datas having a homogenity or not and the datas’ having homogenous and a normal distribution have been determined. “ Pearson Korelasyon” analysis has been applied for determining the relationship between decriptive statistic and narcissim with motivation intentions at the data analysis. At the end of study, Boxers’ motivation intentions have been found out as good level, also a positively relation has been determined between boxers’ narcissim level and the motion of accomplish and power exhibiton. |
