The history of the development of the system of rationing the quality of fire protection is described. Information about the new standard for quality control of fire protection is provided. An example of application of methods of quality control of fire-retardant treatment is presented: the algorithm of quality control of two intumescent coatings, one taken from the existing facility, and one chosen as a control sample (the certified intumescent paint) has been practically executed.
