| Sumario: | It is difficult to overestimate the role of venture investments in the implementation of new projects associated with increased risk, aimed at using the results of scientific and technological progress, not actually applied innovations to enhance innovation and increase the competitiveness of domestic industry.
The article discusses the features and advantages of venture investment as a method of attracting investment and a form of development of innovative potential. The author analyzes the industry aspect of improving venture capital investments in Russia, their impact on the national economy.
Objective: to study the characteristics of venture investment in a cyclical world economy.
Method or methodology of work: general scientific, monographic, economic-mathematical, statistical, method of expert assessments.
Results: the article formulates the main features, problems of the formation and use of venture capital investments in Russia.
