Sumario:The potassium channel KCNK9 mediates important biological processes and is often overexpressed in breast and lung cancers. In this study, the authors developed a specific monoclonal antibody against the extracellular domain of KCNK9 and show that it inhibits cancer growth and metastasis in vivothrough both cell autonomous and immune-dependent cellular cytotoxicity.
