Sumario:Population movements which occur depending on forced migration, force the people to change their socialties, conversion of social relations and continuity of cultural values. Despite the fact that life style and behavior pattern are intrinsic to society, ethnic identification is carried on as migrating and the minority is in conflict between own culture and foreign culture. As a consequence of being in conflict, the conventional structure of the society that keeps the people in unity become distinct customs, beliefs and ethos. This sociological case which depends on alteration also causes cultural conflict between the family members. The cultural conflict that occurs in the society because of living together not only a sociological matter but also is frequently taken into consideration in literature and it’s the main subject of Amy Tan’s novels. Tan whose family is expatriated feels a lot of cultural problems. She dwells on causes and effects of these problems feminizing multiple sizes in her works. This article argues that Tan who handles position of this ethnic group in American society, identity crisis encountered, cultural conflicts and belonging problems in the route of women and how she reveals the cultural conflict in The Joy Luck Club. Besides cultural conflict encountered, it is dwelled on women’s struggles when they recall own cultural features.
