Summary:An important member of Northern Germany artists, Emil Nolde has formed a unique style with his personal expressiveness. Originally from a region near the border of Germany and Denmak, he received art training in Munich and Paris, but abandoning all types of traditional mastery acquired, he formulated a plain painting technique which can be considered near primitive.
