Sumario: | The article reveals the features of the methodology for teaching children in Sunday parish schools, which are organized practically at each parish of the Russian Orthodox Church. The fine arts in Sunday school are additional in nature and, along with the main disciplines, contribute to the formation of an Orthodox worldview among students. Through creative visual activity, children are immersed in the atmosphere of visual art in the context of Orthodoxy. The method of project activity in training is considered as the most effective.
Purpose: the study aims to determine the methodological features of teaching the pictorial activities of primary school children in a Sunday parish school.
Methodology: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical experiment (observation, analysis of children’s work, interview).
Results: determination of the content, sequence and methods of teaching the fine arts of primary school children in a Sunday parish school
Results: the results of the study can be applied in the classroom at parish Sunday schools.
Practical implications: the proposed methodology of teaching fine art allows you to generate knowledge, skills in fine arts in the context of introducing children to Orthodox traditions and developing personal and creative potential. |
