| Résumé: | This article briefly describes the evolution of the cultural administration during Perón’s rule. It studies the bureaucratic reforms that brought in those years (the creation of a Sub Secretary of Culture and a Direction of Culture later on). The analysis permits to observe a cycle that goes from the expansion of the state on that regard, to budgetary cut-downs. The last phase coincides with a time in which the attempts to attract intellectuals to work with the state are abandoned. The article also explores the content of the cultural policies implemented by the state during those years. |
