Wâsil was the one with superior intelligence. He came to prominence among the orators who lived in his time, as a orator with his knowledge, with the ability to eloquence, with the fluency in the statement and with remarkable style. He would not like to talk too. Because he could not pronounce the letter “r” so, he was careful not to use this letter in his speech. He could use another words rather than words with letter “r”. In a competition, was held between orators of Basra in the presence of Iraq governer Abdullah b. Umar b. Abdulaziz, he said a oration without letter “r” and he was superior to the other orators. That is why he called “the orator of Mu’tazila”. He commented the transport and rational proofs in the best way with his convincing power and he has exhibited his qualification in the fineness of the literature with his ability of eloquence. This oratory is also an important document in terms of revealing his features.
