Sumario: | In Latin America the role of the elites in the political actions of the modern States decimonónicos is linked narrowly with the possession of symbolic and material elements. The possession of wealth and the family linkings were, among others, the axes on which ways of political domination were built that survived well entered the 20th century. In Argentina and particularly in the provinces but impoverished of the Northwest, the local political elites went who during all the 19th century and principles of the XX exercised the main political charges (governing, minister, provincial and national senator, provincial and national representative). In this presentation a first approximation to the material bases and to the family bonds of some main members is carried out of what we call local political elites in Catamarca to starts of the 20th century. |
