The Document Only Answers What It Has Asked: How to make the silenced voices of non-school educational cultures, present in Minas Gerais, in the 18th century, emerge from the documentation?
Resumo: O artigo busca analisar a documentação colonial relacionada as devassas eclesiásticas e pastorais no que tange as culturas educacionais e não escolares e as politicas educadoras dos comportamentos direcionadas às restrições etnico raciais da população de Minas Gerais no século XVIII. A partir da análise de um referencial que analisa as politicas educacionais e de contenção da mestiçagem presente na documentação citada, analisa-se o efeito simbólico, educativo e representacional na população não branca e que reflete um cenário escludente.

Abstract: The article seeks to analyze the colonial documentation related to ecclesiastical and pastoral investigations regarding educational and non-school cultures and educational policies of behaviors aimed at ethnic-racial restrictions of the population of Minas Gerais in the 18th century. From the analysis of a framework that analyzes educational policies and the containment of miscegenation present in the aforementioned documentation, the symbolic, educational and representational effect on the non-white population is analyzed, which reflects an excluding scenario.
