| Sumario: | This article aims at to carry through a reflection on the urban poverty, pointing out it as a central dimension of the social matter in the Europe and Brazil. lt is looked to detach initial[y that the present poverty in the Brazilian reality was being secularly constructed by means of the existence of a strong oligarchical-authoritarian character mal characterizes the relations and that, moreover, if it shows fruit of the transformations in course in the current world, over all when it involves happened economic questions of the phenomenon of the recent globalization. lt is argued, after that, the emergency of new challenges that if place lo the society, to the State and also the actors who start to occupy a paper, of prominence in the society contemporary, as it is the case of the medias. When conquering the importance that today is allowed to verify, the media passes tu come across with innumerable questions imposed for the realty of current poverty. Thus excellent if it becomes the consideration of this cited importance ol the media, has seen that the comment of some of its characteristics demonstrates the capacity that it has lo attribute sensible to the poverty, what she transforms it into an important actor capable to disclose an understanding of the reality. |
