Sumario: | The aim of this study is to discuss possible similarities and / or differences between Career Anchors of men and women of Generation Y. The values, motivations and individual talents are pillars that guide the desires and expectations of men and women before his professional career. Thus, a qualitative study was conducted with 40 professionals of both sexes (20 men and 20 women) to discuss the Career Anchors of these individuals. It was used content analysis technique which aimed to clarify the data collected. The results suggested traces of similarities between genders before 4 Anchors, men were predominant in 3 Anchors and women had predominance under 2, besides being identified a new potential Career Anchor – Recognition / Professional Recovery (RP) – to be investigated in further studies. |
