During this time, changes and transformations in social life were the subject of literary works; the mentality of the period, the mindset, culture, life, perception of religion and belief are reflected in the novels. In the novels written during this period, the social and political themes are generally covered, and superstitious beliefs showing society and the corrupt side of the individual constitute the theme and content of some novels. Therefore, fifty novels published between 1908-1923 and selected are examined around superstitious beliefs. The study focused primarily on superstitious beliefs in the introduction; information about innovation, superstition and public beliefs. Afterwards the novels that were read were analyzed in terms of superstitious beliefs under seven main topics created by the findings. As a result of the findings obtained in the results and evaluation section, a short evaluation and interpretation was made. Among the period novels published between 1908 and 1923, it is seen that some novelists, especially Huseyin Rahmi, concentrated their criticisms of religion and belief on superstition around superstition.
