In a narrow and limited area, the poets who had to exhibit their arts under the influence of many limiting elements intensely focused on word crafting in their poems. This situation, which shapes the aesthetic dimension of classical Turkish poetry, shows its effect in each of the dimensions of shape, sound, rhythm, word, meaning and style. In this sense, it can be said that the poets who deal with the word “being hurt” in almost every aspect form a quite rich image and imagination around this word Within the frame of this action of the lover, while he, who is usually hurt, but shouldn’t be hurt, or in the position of fear of inflicting; the beloved, that beloved is in the state of hurting the loves attracts the attention. It can be said that the “rakîb” is indirectly involved in the task of ”inflicting” the love affair. The poets, especially those who love the ”fear of inflicting“ point of view, employ very original and aesthetic dreams in their poems. Emotions and thoughts are the same in the dreams that poets dream around the word hurt. What changes is how they express it. None of them are the same. One relates this to an event in nature; one shows evidence of public belief; another tells the story by making a haunt; another one expresses the feeling of a new dream on the knowledge in the tradition. Therefore, it can be said that in this poetic tradition, originality and aesthetics are not only related to what is said but also about how it is said. The sutdy, which is about classical Turkish poetry on the word/phares of being hurt, aims both to draw attention to the development of this poetry tradition in terms of the “word crafting” and to reveal how poets, turn their poetry into aesthetic beauty by dealing with a word/phares in their poems.Ramazan ARIFırat Universityarticlebe hurtaestheticloveghazelclassical turkish poetrySocial SciencesHSocial sciences (General)H1-99DEENFRTRJournal of Academic Social Science Studies , Vol 13, Iss 79, Pp 183-196 (2020)
