| Sumario: | The article discusses topicality and essence of economic potential of the region in order to ensure its economic sustainability and development. It explains etymology of the notions ‘potential’ and ‘economic potential of the region’ and identifies components of tangible and intangible potential of the region as an outline, which allows us to understand the arising of economic potential of the region. The essence of the economic potential of the region is formulated as a result of synergy effect implying interaction of factors of its tangible and intangible potential. The matrix of interaction of tangible and intangible potential assets is built to identify the basic level of synergy effect appearance and the degree of this effect impact on the region development. |
