The aim of this study is to assess the needs of competencies in the Polish energy labor market as well as the trends among hard ad soft skills also in the context of renewable energy sources. Within an exploratory approach, 245 job advertisements were analyzed using various tools, including general descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk, Kruskal–Wallis H and Mann–Whitney U tests, as well as Spearman’s Rho. The research confirmed that teamwork and MS Office are crucial demands of employers.
