DURATION OF OESTROUS CYCLE AND OESTRUM IN ALPINE-MALABARI GOATS
In Alpine-Malabari cross bred goats, onset of puberty was observed at 232.4±6.27 days of age and the average body weight was 13.19±0.35 kg. Medium duration oestrous cycles were observed in 84.09 percent animals and the average duration of oestrum was 49.43±6.17 hours.
