Of these 115 prevailed the steps of data collection 110 (95.7%) and implementation of care 104 (90.4%). There was a significant association between the application of the steps of the Nursing Process using information systems and evaluation scales. Some steps of the Process were associated with the use of Standardized Language Systems and nursing theories. Conclusion: the Nursing Process is configured as a strategy to consolidate the best practices, basing the actions on scientific evidence and on the needs of the individual through clinical expertise and qualification of the records.Susane Karine Kerckoff MachadoEdlamar Kátia AdamyFabiane PertilleCarla ArgentaClarissa Bohrer da SilvaCarine VendruscoloUniversidade Federal de Santa Mariaarticleenfermagemprocesso de enfermagematenção terciária à saúdepadrões de prática em enfermagem.MedicineRNursingRT1-120PTRevista de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Vol 12, Iss 1, Pp e2-e2 (2021)
