Until this date, few historians had been interested in the way this Aragonese policy had been viewed by both Sardinian and Corsican population. Yet, the comparative reading of the Corsican, Sardinian, Genoese and Aragonese archives testifies that the relationships between the two islands and the king of Aragon predated the creation of the new kingdom.
