Sumario:Science education has an important place in the education system of preschool education to achieve success comes from at the beginning of the factors affecting teachers' attitudes toward science teaching. Attitude is a state of affective characteristics to certain people, objects, events, classes or subjects involved in the show. The purpose of this study was to determine preschool teacher candidates’ attitudes towards science based on different variables. The study sample was Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University Faculties of Education Department of Elementary Education Preschool Teacher who are studying at the department of 173 preschool teachers is formed. Research was realized in the spring semester of the 2013-2014 academic year. This research is a descriptive study based on screening models. The data collection tool as a personal information form and a science attitude scale was used. Attitudes towards science teaching Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was examined and overall reliability of the scale was found to be ? = 0.78. The results obtained were statistically evaluated by descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one way variance anaIyses (ANOVA) and analysis of the multiple comparison tests of Tukey by using SPSS 17.0 program. As a result of the analysis, it’s been identified that preschool teacher candidates' attitudes towards science teaching was high level, there’s not differences in gender, age, and graduated with the schools, there is significant differences between grade level and in favor of 4th grades.
