| Summary: | The perfomance of the Social Service in public and social policies includes attributions related to the process of decision, formulation, adoption, management, implementation and evaluation of policies and their unfolding in programs, projects and social services. The professional intervention in this field, supposes theoretical competence, political and technical based on the Professional Code of Ethics and in the law that regulates the profession. Based on the policies of social assistance, health and education, this article reflects on the insertion of social workers, apprehending their performance in the management and evaluation of policies and programs related to these areas. |
