Supported by Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK) of Turkey with a code of 115B089, this camp is designed to provide students with diverse hands-on activities using learning-by-doing approach. The study group consists of 30 middle-school students. The one-group pretest-posttest design, a type of quantitative research methodology, was adopted. Data were collected using Science Process Skills Test and Test of Science Related Attitudes. It has been found that learning by doing and learning by experimenting and observing approaches contributed students’ science process skills (t(29)=- 6,31, p<.05) and science related attitudes (t(29)=-2,99, p<.05) in a positive way.
