Description
Résumé:This paper explores the international relations of Grenada between 1979 and 1983. It suggests that this country underwent important transformations during the government of Prime Minister Maurice Bishop. It also asserts that divergences in the interior of the local revolutionary elite ended up causing its virtual suicide, and led to the foreign intervention in October of 1983. The paper made use of original sources from the Brazil’s Historical Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
