The particularity of those artefacts implied the constitution of a multidisciplinary team. The collaboration of a support painting restorer and an ethnographic restorer, working together on the "feather mosaic", allowed to have a complementary vision on those artefacts. Our talk will present : a study of the techniques, and a comparative study of the two featherworks, a description of the degradation inherent in this type of objects, the restoration choices and the importance of preventive conservation.
