In this context, the Federal Institutions of Higher Education also suffer influences and are driven to university internationalization in the quest to meet global demands. This paper aims to research the actions developed in the area of Human Resources directed to the training and development of staff (teachers and technical-administrative servers) focused on the process of internationalization in the Federal Public Universities in Brazil. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, it was carried out through a questionnaire sent by e-mail, from July to December 2016, through the Citizen Information Service (CIS) to 63 Brazilian Federal Public Universities (BFPU). After the data were collected, they were classified according to Rudzki's model of staff development categories (1998).
