The data about gender, socioeconomic level, level of educational status of parents was collected “the Information Form” developed by the researcher. In the study conducted by survey methods, data was analyzed through SPSS software. First both of the scales’ reliability was calculated and it was found that Cronbach Alpha Coefficient for PH-CSCS is .87 and Cronbach Alpha Coefficient for WM-SSCSA is .98. These value were accepted as reliable enough. As a result of the data analysis it was found that there is a significant relationship between level of the self-respect and level the social adjustment; the more children’s self-respect rises, the more children’s level of social adjustment. According to gender variable, it was observed that the female students have higher level of the self-respect and social adjustment. In the study it was also discovered that amelioration in the socioeconomic level influenced the self-respect and social adjustment positively; the higher level of educational status of the parents increases, the more level of the self respect and the social respect rises. Findings in the study was commented in the light of literature and discussed with respect to the self-respect and the social adjustment.
