Description
Summary:Interorganizational relationships are gaining ground in the global economy, among which stand out the spatial agglomeration. In such settings, the relations among the different agents result in interaction and learning, requiring better understanding of the process of interorganizational learning (IOL), which becomes relevant topic of research, mainly because it is a complex emerging and still in development stage phenomenon, especially in spatial agglomeration. Therefore, this theoretical essay aims to present an analytical conceptual scheme for a better understanding of the IOL process in the context of spatial agglomerations. This proposal may be useful for several organizational configurations that maintain horizontal interorganizational relations, especially spatial agglomerations We believe this paper contributes towards a better understanding and development of IOL in many different existing spatial agglomerations, bringing benefits particularly for micro and small businesses, also enabling the intensification of socio-territorial development, and not only with the economic view. Thus, it is understood that the contributions presented here may allow progress, establish new borders and open new lines of research.
