Sumario:Bonchoir, biloute! Heterolinguism as a source of humor in the movie Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis and its Polish version Both in the novel and in the film, the use of language variation may serve different purposes. Using examples from the comedy Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis and its Polish translation, the article examines humourous effects created by highlighting some of the phonetic and lexical features of ch’ti variation and the ways these effets are handled in polish translation of the movie.
