This is possible with children’s and youth’s, who are future of that nation, being aware of their own history, cultural property and their ancestors who brought these into being. The most important role on connection between the past and the future are undoubtedly written records. Orkhon Inscriptions, the first written records of our community, forms the primary source of military and government management. One of the most significant example among these kinds of 20 th century texts, is Atatürk’s “Address to youth” . These speeches are reflection of Orkhon Inscriptions in many aspects. The aim of this research is; analysing both of these texts by comparing, in order to help to make them clear for transferring to next generations, because these two speeches have many similarities such as subject and verbalism technique. In the end many similarities are found between these two speeches. They are; requirements that Turkish people have to do so as to protect their existence and unity, events that they have to deal with against inner and outer enemies and necessisty of sacrifice for the sake of independency. By basing on these information, various suggestions are offered for researchers and teachers to examine and teach the speeches.
