Sumario:Despite the focus on personal issues on psychology practice for a long time (Snow, 2012), in recent years, it is pointed out the necessity to take part in the counseling field of social justice issues. Since social issues has been the main topic of conversation in the USA, social justice has taken its place among the study subjects of psychological counseling by the early 1900s (Keklik, 2010; Kiselica, & Robinson, 2001). Nevertheless, professionals in the field of psychology have only recently begun to realize their defender role in the field of socioeconomic system, and politics (Snow, 2012). Examined the studies carried out on social justice issues in the counseling field in Turkey, it is possible to state that there is still not a strong voice and movement in this regard. By the view of spiritual counseling, it seems to focus on more personal matters such as anxiety, interpersonal relationship, and self in the field whose applications began to develop in recent years. This study focuses on the history and applications within social justice issues, after it briefly mentions the definition of the concept of social justice. Finally, by examining the research subjects of spiritual counseling, it’s addressed to social justice issues in terms of this field.
