Curses, which have important places in Turkish culture with their artistic and authentic structure, are the expressions of deep sadness, anger, and agony by speakers. The focus of the present study is the suffix {-AsIcA} used commonly in Anotolian dialects and the curses formed this suffix. Like the other curses, the curses with {-AsIcA} are found commonly in poems, dirges and folk songs. İn fact, the curses with {-AsIcA} are domestic and exist in spoken language and dialects. İn the article, the linguistic material gathered are classified according to their quality. Under the title of “curses wishing death” examples, which display rich and stronge expressions, such as “boyu devrilesice”, “sırtı teneşire gelesice”, “yerlere giresice”, “evinde baykuşlar ötesice” are given. The usage of {-AsIcA} in prays are also stated in the article. “ruhu şad olasıca”, “nurda yatasıca” etc. However, it is obvious that a reproach is hinted in the core of these prays. The reason for that is the suffix of {-AsIcA}. {-AsIcA} is an enlarged form with participle suffix {-AsI} and {+cA} equative suffix. With this respect, {-AsIcA} has the form of gerund. Nevertheless, with the effect of {+cA} equative suffix, it forms the adjective part of adjective clauses in curses and used as a participle suffix as in the examples. “kör olasıca gelin” “ciğeri yapışasıca (adam)”, “eri yitesice (kız/kadın)”. İn that case {-AsIcA} can be accepted as a compound suffix. İn the study it is claimed that {-AsIcA} is curse suffix regarding it animates curses and always reminds them.İ.
