Sumario:Trinks et al developed a protocol that enables super-resolved visualisation of the interaction between natural killer cells and Aspergillus fumigatus hyphae by expansion microscopy. They describe in detail steps of the formation of the immunological synapse including cytoskeleton re-arrangement, granule convergence and translocation of LAMP1, demonstrating the utility of the method.
