Sumario: | Based on some of Peter Burke´s statements in his introductory article to the book Formas de hacer historia, in this paper we draw some lines for discussion in this workshop. We address such topics as the relationship between the historian and the sources and his social commitments. Finally, we weigh up recent historiographical tendencies that try to make a complex History, full of nuances and free of national prejucides and other premises of the tradicional History. |
