At this point, by benefiting from the data of ‘Ilmu'l-Umrân' invented by Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406), who influenced many thinkers, scholars, intellectuals and politicians till today, it may be thought that some new approaches can be brought about conflict resolution and peace in today’s world of conflict. The meanings that Ibn Khaldun puts on such concepts as umran, civilization, conflict, peace, conflict resolution, asabiya, religion, change, property, state can help in this context.
