In this frame, to determine in which rate the women and men figures take part in the pictures of course books, the position of women-men figure in picture according to contents of subject, consequently how position and role the women figure takes part in course books have been aimed. Achieved findings are thought to be important in respect of being updated of the examined course books and attributing to being prepared in wanted specialities of the course books to be written. Investigation has been limited to the primary school course books thought in Primary Schools in Nigde through 2008-2009 Education year of Ministry of Education. Twenty-two course books have been taken in the extend of investigation. It has been pointed out that the rate of men figure is more than the rate of women figure among all the course books expect from first grade Science, second grade math and fifth grade Science and Technology Course Books. Sexuality discrimination has been observed in the visual items though Course Books. It can be said that there is a discrimination in women and men figures on occupations. It has been seen that consistency of women figures in course books with context of theme has not been minded much. The impression that visual figures are generally selected randomly appeared.
