| Summary: | This paper explores a funerary Ptolemaic stela of Ankh-wennefer together with his elder son, Djedher (inv. no GEM 12920). Illustrated drawing is provided for the first time. The available surface is fully inscribed with hieroglyphic inscriptions in three fields; the top lunette consists of eleven neatly separated lines including Osiris's titles. The second field contains five horizontal lines of offering formulae Htp di nswt. Furthermore, there are two vertical columns on the left and right sides of the stela bear some official titles. Based on the distinctive orthography and stylistic features of the stela, it could be dated to the Early Ptolemaic Period. |
