As cities grow and expand their services, the administration and governance become increasingly complex. Therefore, it is required to transform cities in order to address the challenges generated by the security of citizens, the social, economic, engineering and environmental security. The regulation of the traffic in Targu Jiu City is made, mainly, by road indicators that establish the priority of passing through the intersection, but also by roundabouts or traffic light intersections. Currently, traffic light intersections are equipped with time intersection machines.
