Topochemical synthesis of different polymorphs of polymers as a paradigm for tuning properties of polymers
Usually, post-synthetic crystallization of solution-synthesized polymers into different topologies is difficult. Here the authors show solid-state polymerization of different reactive polymorphs of a monomer pre-organized in different topologies to obtain polymorphs of the corresponding polymer.
