Sumario: | Italian animal advocacy is a complex reality, the actors of which have different origins, ideas and relations even within the same group. Niccolò Bertuzzi, Research Fellow at the Scuola Normale of Pisa (Italy) dealt with this topic from a sociological perspective. His investigation is presented in a book published in 2018, in which he describes the socio-political aspects of this phenomenon with a critical analysis of the results.
