| Summary: | La evidencia sugiere que los inventarios de aves en áreas impactadas por humanos aún son reducidos. El objetivo fue realizar la caracterización de la avifauna de dos lagunas del humedal Choc Choc, ubicado en sector Chorobal distrito de Moche Provincia de Trujillo Región La Libertad Perú. Laguna A: UTM: 9094669.8N, 9094393.2N y 720708.3E, 720707E, Laguna B: UTM: 9094362.7N, 9094209N y 720676.2E, 720675.4E, en la metodología se ha definido hábitats, ubicación del ave respecto a las lagunas, en los alrededores de las lagunas y gremio alimenticio. Se ha registrado un total de 46 especies, 22 familias, 11 órdenes. Las familias con mayor representatividad fueron las Ardeidae, Scolopacidae y Laridae. Se registró una especie en situación casi amenazada Calidris pusilla, y se evidenciaron tres hábitats primarios dentro de las lagunas: ineal, totoral y gramadal que albergan 6 aves especialistas y 2 generalistas, fueron identificados 8 gremios de los cuales las insectívoras alcanzaron el mayor porcentaje seguidas de las pescadoras.

ABSTRACT
Evidence suggests that bird inventories in human-impacted areas are still low. The objective was to carry out the characterization of the avifauna of two lagoons of the Choc Choc wetland, located in the Chorobal sector, district of Moche, Province of Trujillo, La Libertad Region, Peru. Lagoon A: UTM: 9094669.8N, 9094393.2N and 720708.3E, 720707E, Lagoon B: UTM: 9094362.7N, 9094209N and 720676.2E, 720675.4E. The methodology include definition of habitats, the location of the bird in reference to the lagoons, and as well as the feeding guild. A total of 46 species, 22 families, 11 orders were recorded. The most representative families were the Ardeidae, Scolopacidae and Laridae. A species Calidris pusilla was registered in a near threatened situation, and three habitats were evidenced within the lagoons: ineal, totoral and gramadal that house 6 specialist birds and 2 generalists, 8 feeding guilds were identified of which the insectivores reached the highest percentage, followed by the fishery birds.
