Sumario: |
Globalization, as well as international commitments, demand strategies for the efficient management of country's resources by organizations at the national level, and face the challenges represented by the paradigm of sustainable development, which is currently guided by the 2030 Agenda, and where it is established to fight against desertification to achieve a world with neutral land degradation. This requires that actions be taken to face the changes and complex adjustments to achieve them. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to identify the various strategies aimed at establishing land degradation neutrality in Venezuela, based on Mintzberg's conception in his several definitions of strategy (Mintzberg and Quinn, 1993, p. 14). To achieve this objective, a descriptive-level, documentary-type research was carried out. Methodologically, the review of various sources, both printed and digital, was approached, applying the processes of searching, compiling, organizing, interpreting, disclosing, and analyzing the information. The research reveals how the strategy, from various perspectives, contributes to give positive results, which provide the necessary foundation to make the best decisions in search of results based on effectiveness.

Keywords: Strategic thinking; strategies; desertification; land neutrality
|
