It is not known, how much profit enterprises get from market situation and which share of market profit is rent. In soviet times profit was considered as social but not economic category. They thought that it belonged not to a certain group of workers but to people in general. It caused the collapse of soviet economy. The author puts forward methodology of identifying elements of market profit and directions of its use in economy.Lidia I.
