| Sumario: | The success of voyage of Prince D. Pedro for Minas Gerais was essential for the its winner project of the Independence of Brazil. The construction of a political pact in the important and peculiar province established the policy base in the Mid-South and paved the way for independence under the direction Pedrina. The construction of the contract involved a political struggle between the autonomism and the Pedrina option, between the radical constitutionalism and the monarchical authority and the old absolutist habitus, subtle variations in political culture, in a scenario where they feared the territorial fragmentation and social disorganization.
