Sumario:The improvements in science and technology in the 21st century have led to a compulsory change process in several areas of life. Information exchange among the countries has speeded, and our world has turned into a small village. Intercultural increasing communication and Information exchange is became a necessity to having democratic values of societies in the age we live in. In order to provide people live in tolerance in a democratic environment, it is necessary for democratic attitudes and democratic values to be placed in society. Democratic life habits can only be obtained through a democratic educational system. The aim that gain to societies democratic values is became important to education to be given by qualified teachers to having democratic values. The primary aim of this study is to examine middle school teachers’ democratic attitudes and having the level of stundent’s democratic values. This study is a descriptive research. To collect data, “Democratic Values Scala” which in order to determine what level to having the stundent’s democratic values and “Democratic Attitudes Scala” which was developed by “Published for the Attitude Research Laboratory” and adapted to translate to Turkish Language by Gözütok (1995) was used in this research. The sample of the Research group consisted of 100 middle school teachers who carrying on their duties at three middle school and 410 middle school students from 8th grades at three middle school in Adıyaman Province Kâhta district.
